Trans Fertility Co. was created by trans community members to make the world of fertility easier for us to understand and navigate.

A project of Collaborate Consulting, Trans Fertility Co. is the brainchild of trans gestational parent and fertility educator Trystan Reese. After going through his own pregnancy with little access to data on trans fertility, he committed himself to building resources for trans people and their supporters. Trans Fertility Co. is supported by Arlo Dennis, a non-binary gestational parent with a long history in the reproductive and disability justice movements, and Vann Jones, a transgender student at UC Santa Cruz whose studies focus on transgender pregnancy.

At Trans Fertility Co., you’ll find articles on academic research, videos on many aspects of trans fertility, and opportunities for fertility and family-building practitioners to deepen their commitment to the trans community.

Trans Fertility Co. is fiercely intersectional and will work to center the voices of transgender community members who are people of color, people with disabilities, people living in poverty, and others who live at the intersections of resilience and marginalization.

Trans Fertility Co. is 100% shame-free. We will gladly consider guest articles provided that those articles are in alignment with the values listed above AND don’t contain a whiff of judgment about birthing decisions, feeding choices, medicalized/non-medicalized approaches, etc. We believe that every trans person is uniquely sacred and powerful, and that their individual journeys should be honored. We welcome both evidence- and community-based information, provided that it is offered without judgment towards other paths to family-building.

Trans Fertility Co. is built to serve the trans community. If you are trans and experience any “ouch” moments as a result of our work, please let us know. You can submit a contact request, can send us an email or a DM, can text or call one of the organizers (if you have their number), or should otherwise feel empowered to reach out in whatever way feels safe to you. Let us know if you would like any specific action or correction from us, or if you would just like to contribute information that we can use to evolve our language, thinking, or actions.
