Gender Affirming Practices for Birth Workers

This training is offered through Love Over Fear Wellness.

Continued Education is vital. This learning opportunity is for birth workers who want to explore how gender affirming/invalidating practices show up in their work. This offering consists of two pre-recorded classes (one is an overview of language, rights, and barriers; the other is an introduction to rupture and repair, and a breakdown of integrating gender-affirming practices), and a 2+ hour masterclass which will serve as an opportunity to practice skills, roleplay, and answer specific questions about how you approach your work. You will also receive a list of recommended reading, viewing, listening, and more. ⁣

The pre-recorded classes will be released on September 1st, so that you have ample time to move through them before the live masterclass on September 26th. A recording of the masterclass will be sent out to those who are unable to attend live, but attending live will provide you with an opportunity to receive answers and advice from me directly. ⁣
