Trans Post-Partum Q and A

Postpartum is a time of big transition for all new parents, physically, mentally, and emotionally- and there are particular challenges that trans families may face.

In this warm and interactive workshop, Hez and Moss will guide you through discussions about your visions and expectations of postpartum, information on the physiological and emotional shifts and changes of postpartum, strategies for how to prepare, and thoughtful journaling prompts to help you explore your own experience of gender and new parenthood. We hope that participants will leave this workshop prepared to build a postpartum plan that provides the kind of support that you need!

This workshop is for trans and nonbinary people, and families with trans and nonbinary family members, who are currently expecting, planning or trying to conceive, and postpartum. Birth workers are also welcome to join. We just ask that white birth workers pay on the higher end of the sliding scale in order to leave the more accessible.
