April Partnership Update
We’ve been hard at work in 2022, supporting fertility organizations across the globe with their transgender inclusion efforts. Here are some of the partnerships we’ve been engaged with this year!
Elanza Wellness: This fertility start-up sent all of their health and wellness coaches through our Trans Pregnancy online training, and we followed it up with a live Q&A session with Trystan Reese. The Elanza team raved about this combo of asynchronous learning partnered with a live event— they shared that they felt both “informed and humbled” by the content, and are ready to put the concepts to work right away.
EngagedMD: We have continued to support this fertility video creation start-up with their inclusion work, leading inclusion edits on patient-facing educational scripts for fertility center partners across the globe. EngagedMD is committed to creating 100% LGBTQ-inclusive content for all of their fertility clients, and we’re proud to help them make that happen.
IVI-RMA: Our ongoing work with this prestigious fertility center has us building out a scaffolding for IVI-RMA’s LGBTQ content, including social media posts, blog articles, and even custom videos (such as this one for Trans Day of Visibility). We’ve also supported their efforts to become recognized as a Top Performer by HRC’s Healthcare Equality Index, a prestigious designation only given to a handful of fertility centers. We are also offering an LGBTQ training series to their staff across the country, ensuring that every one of their offices is prepared to welcome transgender patients.
Newborn Mothers: This Australian postpartum training network was eager to dip their toes into the world of transgender inclusion, so we started with an interview on their podcast. Then we joined them for a live workshop and Q&A session for their members, covering the basics of transgender pregnancy, with an emphasis on the postpartum experience. Learners were immersed in helpful data on trans gestational parents and gained new skills for partnering in meaningful ways with their transgender clients.
Amazingly, we also managed to present on trans fertility community wisdom at the Meaningful Care 2SLGBTQ+ Medical Conference, spend time in several college classrooms, participate in two Instagram Live events centered around trans fertility, and partnered with two book clubs for live discussions about Trystan Reese’s book How We Do Family.
In other words… we’ve been busy making the world a better place for trans folks who want to embark on fertility journeys! Let us know if we can help support your work this year— we’d love to add you to our list of partners!
